My name is Lena Thakur.

Read more about the BACP Ethical Framework below.
My experience includes working with young people and adults, providing one-to-one counselling and group sessions both online and in person.
I also facilitate self-reflective, psychoeducational and creative therapeutic groups, training and offer counselling supervision for students and professionals.
I have experience working across a range of settings, including private practice, secondary schools, the NHS, community services and Criminal Justice.
I work with young people in secondary schools, providing one-to-one counselling as well as working privately with young people and adults.
Within Criminal Justice, I work as a CBT counsellor and group work facilitator, delivering CBT-based groups on a range of topics alongside one-to-one CBT.

"It is important to me to meet the needs of my clients and to find a way of working that works best for them instead of being stuck within the use of a specific counselling approach."
